Sunnyvale Primary School held its annual Sports Day on a bright Friday morning. Students arrived in colourful team T-shirts and carried banners. The field was decorated with flags and balloons. The event began with a march past where each class showed its cheer and discipline. Ria won a ribbon in the 100-metre race after a close finish. Tom and Sameer ran together in the relay, passing the baton with care. The teachers organized fun races like sack race and three-legged race for younger children. Parents cheered loudly from the stands and enjoyed the refreshment stall selling juice and sandwiches. At the end, the principal awarded medals and praised everyone for their sportsmanship and teamwork.
